Why and How to Lose Weight While Building a Business is a foundation for your success. So many business people get out of shape esp. when starting a Business. I want to share with you some cool ways to improve your Health and get rid of some of that Fat and be healthy while building a successful Business. It’s so important to develop a regiment into your Calendar when building any business. This will help you keep the energy and clear head on making decisions. Trust me this will save you a lot of time in the long run.
You might have noticed that I didn’t say weight I said Fat. Why because it is not about how much weight you lose but rather how much Fat you lose in the Big Picture. So many of us when we start to build a Business any business we put so much into the business and nothing into our Health. But if you want your business to grow you need to be Healthy. This is something I wish I would have addressed when I first starting building my 6 Saturday’s and a Sunday 30 years ago.
Most of you know I was a Detective and started a business to set up my retirement but I didn’t take care of myself and my weight just kept getting heavier. I did up 6 Saturday’s and A Sunday but promise I would get into shape when I retired at 42.But it took another 15 years to get started because I focused on business, Freedom and having fun.
But now if I could do it all over again I would the things I am going to share with you now back when I was in my 20’s. But don’t say I am too old now NO it’s never too late start right now.
So here are a few things to start doing.
#1- Ask yourself WHY should I get into shape? I am always tired, My energy is gone, I feel Fat, I am tired of my clothes always feeling tight.Are these things popping into your head? The word Why is your first step.
#2- Make a decision to clean out the house of all those sweets and bad foods. You know the things that you find between meals and during commercials.
#3- Forget the scale but remember to do measurements. Your Neck, Your Chest, Thighs, Wrists, and Ankles. You see when you do these things that I am going to suggest you are going to gain muscle. We know Muscle weights more than fat. Chart these measurements in a Notebook.
#4- Get on a healthy diet I would recommend Low Glycemic and focus on veggies. The first week is the hardest but I was lucky enough I found a Program that basically made it the easiest first month I was ever on a Mission to Lose Fat. I was able to lose 4 1/2 inches off my belly WOW… Don’t forget to check with your Doc in case you have any underlying medical situations.
#5- Start an exercise program either start walking every day or get into a gym. It is important to build some muscles too esp. as we get older which will help prevent Falls. But if you can get out and walk esp. after your dinner that is great. Add A Friend or 2 to your walking habits this makes it fun.
